WALL ART
One of the easiest and most impactful ideas is to install some chic new wall art to your living space. Try and have fun with it. When making a choice for your home, try to think about the scale of the room, the colour of the wall you intend to hang it on. Pick something suitable and decide if you want a statement or subtle injection of style. You could opt to go for a full-scale large piece taking up a wall or if you like the more discreet look - go for something scaled down, maybe a trilogy or different smaller pieces hung in a formation. Remember, whatever you choose you will spend a lot of time looking at it, so make sure it pleases your mind.
PLANT IT UP
The winter is here and as such, we are spending less time in the garden. A great way to keep connection with nature is to inject in a few attractive houseplants. Pick something that compliments your scheme - plants add softness and a touch of elegance.
Ensure you check what environment best suits your new plants or they won’t be in your home for long!! Plants are a way of injecting colour too but think about their placement. Normally, you should keep them away from heaters/radiators and give them access to natural daylight.

Have you considered you boudoir space recently?! Think about how this should be a place for relaxation, not just sleeping. it also the place where we dress to impress...do our make up and generally preen to perfection! When did you last buy some new sheets/pillows/duvets or throws? It’s amazing what a rejuvenating impact fresh bedding can have, not only the appearance of your bedroom, but on the quality of your night sleep too. Go for that look you have also wanted to create - maybe pick some occasional cushions to add texture and a bit of glam!
LIGHTING
Lighting isn't just a practical need in our homes, it creates a vibe...a mood...the ambiance! Lamps can also act as piece of art too, if you buy a stylish piece for your space. Think about a new table lamp or maybe a new celling light? You could think about some mood lighting to be used when you are relaxing and not working.
